Alleged sex offender Samuel Moderie, who allegedly used online dating apps to drug and rape women, allegedly had three additional victims , bringing the total number to 15.
The 28-year-old man from St-Zotique appeared Wednesday morning at the Montreal Courthouse. The Crown filed ten new counts against the accused. Samuel Moderie therefore now faces 43 counts of sexual assault, administration of a noxious substance, voyeurism and theft.
Recall that the police had, after making the arrest of Samuel Moderie, in early February to be on the lookout for other potential victims who might have crossed his path.
According to authorities, the man used dating sites such as Tinder, JALF and Badoo to trap its victims. He reportedly went to their home and administered drugs to them. Once the latter were unconscious, he would have sexually assaulted them before stealing their property. Several women were unknowingly filmed during the alleged rapes, according to authorities.
