Sean Paul is the headliner of the first day of the Soif de musique festival.

Stop everything! Jamaican dancehall legend Sean Paul will be in Cowansville this summer as part of the Soif de musique festival.

The festival has just added an extra day to its fourth edition, which will take place from the 5 to July 9. And who better to throw a party than Sean Paul himself?

It is therefore in the parking lot of the Roland-Désourdy sports pavilion in Cowansville on July 5 that 15,000 festival-goers will be able to sing along to the lyrics of unmissable hits such as Temperature or Get Busy.

The superstar will be preceded that evening by Quebecer Claudia Bouvette and Ontario's Preston Pablo.

A few days later, Sean Paul will be in Trois-Rivières for the FestiVoix.

Various programming

The lineup for the rest of the festival is also of a high caliber, able to appeal to an array of music lovers with different tastes.

On July 6, the festival will host Half Moon Run as headliners, also with the presence of Lysandre, TALK, Elliot Maginot and Naomi . The next day, make way for rising stars Alicia Moffet and Jonathan Roy as well as Liya Bombardier, Thaïs and Aswell.

On July 8, Cowansville will resonate to the rock sound of Simple Plan , the Vulgar Machins, Lydia Képinski, Greygold and the Shirleys. Finally, on the 9th, Roxane Bruneau is the headliner, while Michel Pagliaro, Cayenne, Mélissa Ouimet and PL Belval will also offer musical performances.
