The change of vocation of an old church did not go unnoticed in the heart of Farnham, in Montérégie, where bikers were visited by police.
The old church, located on St. Joseph Street, was raided Saturday night when the place was occupied by members of Rock Machine.
It was public information transmitted the same day that led the Tactical Response Group of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) to this location around 19:30. The IWG was accompanied by a dog handler and the Forensic Identification Service.
Police seized dozens of methamphetamine tablets, prohibited weapons, nine Rock Machine-style jackets, and bottles of alcohol under the Alcohol Offenses Act.
Seven men and two women were on the scene during the search, including several members in good standing of the Rock Machine. Among them, two men were arrested for possession of methamphetamine, but they were released on a promise to appear at a later date.
