Second tour for the Soif de cidre festival this summer
For fans of fermented apple juice! After a first edition that brought together more than 5,000 visitors, the Soif de cidre Montréal festival will be back from July 28 to 30 along the Lachine Canal.
It is at Hangar 1825 that the public can gather to taste good ciders and meet the producers in a festive atmosphere. About thirty cider makers from all over Quebec will be present to talk about their products in all their facets.
You should know that cider production has been booming in Quebec for several years. . In 2023, there are no less than 128 producers in the province.
Food and cider pairings and other activities
The event will also bring together local restaurateurs who will prepare dishes to match the cider tasting. There will also be an SAQ bistro where a mixologist will prepare cider-based cocktails to help people discover the multiple possibilities of pairing cider with spirits, juices and other ingredients.
It's not All. The event will feature all sorts of other activities such as a lucky wheel, mini-golf courses, giant games around the dining areas and other cider artisan kiosks.
