Shots fired in Little Italy: a casing found on the ground
Shots were fired Tuesday evening in Little Italy, according to the Service of Police of the City of Montreal (SPVM).
SPVM police officers found a bullet casing on the ground, in Ruelle Burelle, between Avenue Casgrain and Avenue De Gaspé, on Tuesday evening.
A call had been reported to 911 around 6:30 p.m. regarding shots heard at the corner of Avenue Casgrain and Rue Burelle.
Police found no victims or suspects. No bullet hole has been located.
A security perimeter has been erected and investigators are on site to try to shed light on this event.
