Soccer World Cup: Croatia wins the small final
The Croatian team secured a place on the podium by winning 2-1 against Morocco in the small final of the cup Soccer World Cup 2022. The Croats finished third in the tournament while the Atlas Lions, whose historic journey aroused strong emotions among the supporters, won fourth place.
It was the Croats, finalists of the 2018 World Cup, who opened the scoring with a goal from Joško Gvardiol in the seventh minute of play. The Moroccans replied in stride, two minutes later, with an equalization signed Achraf Dari. It was ultimately Mislav Oršić who restored the lead to the Croatians and scored the winning goal in the 42nd minute.

Recall that during the last FIFA World Cup soccer in 2018, the Croats lost in the final against the French team of Didier Deschamps.
Morocco, meanwhile, made history by becoming the first African nation to reach the semi-finals of the competition.
