“This betrayer of the sun left its mark on my face, forehead and nose: actinic keratoses which recently became basal cell carcinomas, which are much more worrying . The word we don't want to hear: skin cancer!” she shared on Instagram.
Ms. Thibault indicated that she had received chemotherapy and surgical treatments in the past few months. An area, however, would have resisted these interventions and now requires further treatment, which consists of “removing a tumor by small layer”.
The TVA Nouvelles anchor will be treated at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital. After the intervention, a period of convalescence will be required.
