Christmas holidays will arrive earlier than expected for most students in Montreal, due to the bad weather conditions ahead. The Center de services scolaire de Montréal (CSSDM) has indeed announced via its website that all their educational establishments will be closed for the day of December 23 due to the storm that is expected to hit Quebec on Thursday evening.
“No course or distance learning is planned for all primary and secondary students as well as for the adult sector. Only the personnel required within the framework of the essential services must provide a work service, whether this is face-to-face or telework”, could we read.
The English-speaking School Service Center Lester B. Pearson also announced via email that their schools and facilities will remain closed on December 23.
