The question has been burning the lips of television fans since the announcement of the end of < em>District 31: what new series will take over next fall? Without revealing a title or plot, Radio-Canada announced on Tuesday that Suzanne Clément will star in her new daily drama which will take place in a hospital setting.
This is a great return to Quebec television for Suzanne Clément, who has participated in several series in France – La forêt, Vampires, Versailles and Dérapages – in more than hold significant roles in the cinema. We had not seen the actress on the small screen since her interpretation of the memorable Shandy, in the first season of Unité 9.
The new series, which will start next fall, is written by Marie-Andrée Labbé – known for the dramatic comedies Trop and Sans rendez-vous – and co-produced by Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau of Aetios Productions as well as Guillaume Lespérance of A Média.
The title, plot and full cast of the daily will be announced later, says Radio-Canada in a press release.
