The Taco Fest is coming back to the Old Port soon

Four years after its first edition, which was held in 2019, Taco Fest will be back next month! The event, which will give the opportunity to test no less than 150 different tacos, will take place from September 2 to 4 in the Old Port.

“We are very excited to be back in Montreal with this event! Taco Fest is a festive gathering that celebrates the best of Mexican cuisine, but also the richness of this warm culture, “said Brad Wishen, co-founder of Cravings Food Co., in a press release, to whom we also owe Pizza Fest and Brunch Fest.

In addition to offering a wide choice of tacos, the twenty restaurants and businesses participating in the festival will offer other typical Mexican dishes. Burritos, enchiladas and churros will therefore be on the menu! And on the drinks side, you can also enjoy traditional cocktails based on tequila and mezcal.

To make the atmosphere even more festive, the event will be animated by an original musical program – in particular a mariachi group –, but also by salsa lessons. You can also learn how to prepare a guacamole in the rules of the art during a cooking workshop or take advantage of the hot sauce bar to warm up a little.
