Tania Girard-Savoie assembles patiently for the forms and uses of the colors completely exploded. She silk-screen, she draws or comb, it creates tremendous galaxies, populated by ghosts.

Swim in the colors at the YMCA

Fluviatile, “Which lives or grows in the fresh waters. That belongs to the river” Tania-Girard-Savoie is one of the works which will be integrated into the architecture of the future YMCA, under construction in the district of Saint-Roch on the site of the former cinema. With its 7 meters high and 6 meters wide, the work is the largest ever created by the artist. “This is a great mosaic print on the glass in the pool enclosure. The water and the ceiling, bright and glossy, will reflect the work and the people will swim into the color, in total immersion”, she said. The work was unanimously chosen by the jury, which is “a beautiful proof of love”, for Tania Girard-Savoie. Among his public art projects include a wall of rhizomes colored printed glass panels to the House of birth of Limoilou, as well as a mosaic of landscape photographs, reworked by computer, installed in the multipurpose centre in Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce. Many of his works are also exposed to the Arpidrome, in Charlesbourg.
