Ten Star Académie candidates have COVID, the broadcast is postponed
The 2022 season of Star Académie will finally start on January 30 . This is the second time the broadcast has been postponed for an additional week due to COVID-19 cases among the contestants.
The public will have to take its troubles patiently, while the TVA channel has just announced that it is delaying the start of the new season of Star Académie for another week.
Last week, 4 of the 19 candidates of the first Variety had contracted COVID-19. The production therefore had to postpone the presentation. This week, six new positive cases were added among aspiring academics, thus forcing the first broadcast to be postponed again.

Reminder of 2022 news
While waiting for the broadcast, here is a reminder of this year's notable novelties.
First, the public will now have access to the academicians at all times thanks to the cameras which will film the candidates day and night. This is what the production announced a little earlier on its Instagram account.

It will also be Marc Dupré who will host this new season, while Patrice Michaud was at the helm of Variétés du dimanche in 2021.
Finally, Guylaine Tremblay joined the teaching team of < em>Star Academyfor the new season of the show. To the delight of the public, she will wear the costume of a teacher of interpretation. She will join the teachers' bench alongside Lara Fabian and Gregory Charles.
The pandemic forces the postponement of the Artis gala
The TVA channel also announced on Wednesday the postponement of the Artis gala, whose live broadcast was scheduled for May. Uncertainty about the pandemic situation forced her to make this decision.
“We really wanted to be able to celebrate together and pay tribute to the talent of our Quebec artists by bringing together the creators who make our television, and the enthusiasts who watch it. This is only a postponement!” mentions Nathalie Fabien, Senior Director, Channels and Programming at TVA Group.
The Artis evening will therefore be moved to a later date, which production will announce as soon as it is confirmed.
