The media food drive is tomorrow!

La guignolé des mé dias, it’s tomorrow!

From 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, December 1, volunteers will be present at 70 collection points in Greater Montreal to collect donations as part of the 22nd edition of La guignolée des medias, in order to ;helping families in a situation of food insecurity and affected by inflation.

In addition to the many usual intersections where people can donate, it will be possible to make donations at the Angrignon, Berri- UQAM, Bonaventure, Champ-de-Mars, Jarry, Jean-Talon, Place-des-Arts, Radisson and Saint-Laurent, in addition to the Maxi and Provigo grocery stores, partner grocers of the food drive.

Those who cannot contribute to the street collection tomorrow will be able to drop off their donations in cash or non-perishable foodstuffs until the 31 December by going to a Provigo or a Maxi of their choice. It is also possible to make a cash donation by visiting guignolee.ca or donating $10 by texting NOEL to 20222.

All donations will be given to around a hundred food aid counters and from recognized organizations. In turn, these groups will redistribute them in the form of food and meals to several thousand people and families here for the holiday season, but also after.
