The paintings stolen last week at Ninkasi have been reported. The young thieves have even addressed the “appropriate apology” from the bar and the artist.

Instead of filing a complaint to the police, the director of the resto-bar Caroline Marois and the artist Stephan Packet had decided to let a chance to the eight thieves, as clients of the place. They could bring back the four paintings and to avoid the criminal record.

In a publication on Facebook of December 26, The Ninkasi explained that we could easily recognize faces on its surveillance cameras. On December 30, the bar used Facebook again to inform users of the return of the paintings.

“They will return soon to their respective positions on our walls, the time of the exhibition,” one can read.

Ms. Marois had expressed to the Sun last week that young people (after having consumed the drink) are often “naïve” and do not think about the consequences of such a gesture, she left them so the chance to catch up, what they have done.
