The PQ makes migration policy à la Trump, according to the PLQ
Marc Tanguay, interim leader of the Quebec Liberal Party (PLQ).
Interim Quebec Liberal Party (PLQ) leader Marc Tanguay says the Parti Québécois (PQ) “deportation policy” resembles that put in place by former US President Donald Trump.

Marc Tanguay thus refers to the remarks made by his PQ counterpart, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, a few minutes before him concerning Quebec's jurisdiction to block the illegal passage of migrants at the Canadian border via Roxham Road.
“Roxham Road is a road, so at some point it comes under provincial jurisdiction,” said Mr. St-Pierre Plamondon. The Sûreté du Québec has jurisdiction to close it, block it, so at that point, Roxham Road becomes an enclave managed by the federal government and the donors of the Liberal Party of Canada, but it becomes unusable, because we have jurisdiction path.”
