Threats on social networks: a school closes its doors
Académie Dunton, a high school in Montreal, is closing its doors for the day due to threats on the networks social.
The management of Dunton Academy decided not to open the school to students after being alerted that a disturbing message was circulating on social media. The threat message was reportedly posted to a school-linked group on social media. He advised the students to stay home since an individual was going to show up to school with a gun.
Investigators from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) are already present at the private residence where the message came from and checks are underway.
An increased police presence is also ensured by the SPVM around the high school.
