Three shows not to be missed during Montréal en lumière
The theaters are finally coming back to life! Montréal en lumière is relaunching the festival ball. Here are three events that are worth the trip.
We couldn't have found a better show title to reconnect with the arts from the scene! With Reunion, the famous singer-songwriter intends to celebrate the reopening of theaters. This will be the opportunity to hear for the first time on stage the pieces of his new album, L'heure mauve, composed especially to accompany the visit of the exhibition of the same name by Nicolas Party, currently in progress at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
February 18 and 19 at the Théâtre Maisonneuve.
What could be better than the dazzling chic and sunny disco-pop of Le Couleur to reconnect with the theaters? We challenge you not to dance to the lively music of the friendly group. In addition, on the same day, Le Couleur will release a Deluxe version of its latest album, Concorde, featuring 13 new tracks. Something tells us that we will be able to discover some new songs and new arrangements on stage.
February 25 at L’Astral.
Les 7 Doigts
There are not only music shows in Montréal en lumière. Designed especially for this edition of the festival, the show Cadence by the troupe Les 7 Doigts will take place entirely on ice, outdoors. The production, which features skaters as well as professional circus artists, promises to amaze with its acrobatic barrel jumps, Cyr wheel on ice and other high-flying feats.
>February 24 to March 5 on the Place des Festivals esplanade.
Montréal en lumière takes place from February 17 to March 5. The complete program of the festival can be found here.
