Time change time: alcohol sales will end at 2 a.m.

Alcohol sales will end at 2 a.m. standard time on the night of Sunday, March 12. This is one of the effects of the transition to Eastern Daylight Saving Time that will take place that night, warns the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.

At the Eastern Daylight Time will be 3:00 a.m. when Standard Time will show 2:00 a.m.

If this is a lost profit hour for liquor licensees, bars, restaurants and more, these 60 minutes will be repeated in the fall, when Eastern Standard Time returns.
