Victor Pelletier, CAQ candidate in Saint-Henri-Sainte-Anne
Victor Pelletier will be the candidate for the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) in the riding of Saint-Henri–Sainte -Anne, as the upcoming by-election approaches. Prime Minister François Legault made the announcement on Thursday, January 26 during a cocktail party for activists in a hotel in Laval.
Elected president of the Commission Relève of the Coalition Avenir Québec in November 2022, the 22-year-old is completing a bachelor's degree in communication and politics at the University of Montreal.
He took part in the reorganization of the CAQ's Council of Young Talent Regions and got involved with the CAQ's Local Action Committee and the Blainville Carrefour-Jeunesse-Emploi.
“I am very proud to present Victor as a CAQ candidate in Saint-Henri-Sainte-Anne. He is a brilliant, involved and dedicated young man. Victor has Quebec tattooed on his heart, he is passionate about politics and he wants to represent young people and all the citizens of the riding. Long live youth!”, enthused the Premier of Quebec, when unveiling the news.
Since 2018, Victor Pelletier has been MP Mario Laframboise’s political attaché.
“I am a man of action and action and I am committed to getting involved for the common good of the people of Saint-Henri–Saint-Anne, that of families, young people, seniors, community organizations and business people,” declared Victor Pelletier.
Remember that the date of the poll has not yet been set. The riding has remained vacant since the departure of the former leader of the Liberal Party of Quebec (PLQ) Dominique Anglade.
