Weather: a short respite
After the recent storm, which left 26 cm of snow in Montreal, the weekend should offer respite to Quebecers. But the latter will be short-lived.
Saturday will be cloudy, with a clearing trend for most areas of the province. A generous sun against a background of blue sky will prevail on Sunday before giving way to new disturbances.
Indeed, a coastal depression, coming from the Atlantic, has headed for Quebec and should settle in the province overnight from Sunday to Monday.
“The respite will be short-lived in Quebec since the next system is already on the radar. On the menu by Monday evening: snow, sleet and freezing rain, accompanied by gusts, ”advises Météo Média.

This is the east and center of the province that will be most severely affected. Snow, sleet and freezing rain are expected on the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula and the North Shore, but also on certain sectors of Estrie, Beauce and the Capitale-Nationale.
In Montreal, the snowflakes will be back on Tuesday.
