Works on the blue line: here are the 6 stations closed this Sunday

Several metro stations served by the blue line will be closed on Sunday, due to accessibility works .

Here is the list of stations concerned:

  • Snowdon
  • Côte-des-Neiges
  • Université-de-Montréal< /li>
  • Édouard-Montpetit
  • Outremont
  • Acadie

The closure of these six stations will take place from 5:30 a.m. until at 7 p.m. in the evening. In order to allow network users to continue to be able to travel, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) will deploy a shuttle that will travel between the Snowdon and Jean-Talon stations.

The shuttles will run every 15 minutes before 7 a.m., then every 10 minutes until when the stations reopen.

These works, which will lead to a prolonged interruption of service on the blue line, aim to make the Édouard-Montpetit station universally accessible. In particular, two lifts that will connect all levels of the station must be installed.
