Zellers announces reopening dates opening

After disappearing from the landscape for a decade, Zellers has finally revealed the official opening dates for all of its new stores in Canada. Almost all of them will open on Tuesday, April 4, with the exception of the Rosemère boutique, which is scheduled to open on April 27.

Last January, it was announced the grand return of Zellers stores which, after experiencing their heyday in the 1990s, had closed their doors in 2013. In total, there are 25 stores, all in soon to be opened across Canada in Hudson's Bay stores. Of the lot, five will be located in Quebec, including one in Montreal, at the Galeries d'Anjou. The others will be at Place Rosemère in Rosemère, Carrefour de l'Estrie in Sherbrooke, Promenades Gatineau in Gatineau, and Galeries de la Capitale in Quebec City.

In Ontario and Alberta, the new Zellers stores have already been inaugurated and have been a “resounding success”, according to the press release issued by The Bay. We can afford to believe that the enthusiasm will be just as strong in our part of the country.
